Cows are such idiots

For those of you who don’t know me or you are a first time visitor you may not know but we own a dairy farm. We have 400+ cows and we milk like 160+ cows at the moment.
Cows are some of the dumbest animals around. When they get scared it gets to the point to where they almost use no brain power at all. They try to jump over huge fences and all kinds of crazy stuff.
One time some cows got out and one of them managed to jump over a around 5 foot tall steel fence post. Well she did not make it over the post and she landed on top of it and got stuck.
It took 2 people to get her off the post and it actually did not go completely through her stomach but it did leave a nice mark. She healed up and lived but she was sore for a while.
Well one night we got called by my aunt who lives up the road next to the younger cows. These are the crazy ones for the most part. Well she said that one was stuck in some tree’s and so we got on our atv and went up there.
This is what we saw:
This heifer had managed to stick her head in the middle of these two tree’s only to get stuck. She did not like us helping her out either. She would pull away from us and would not let us lift her head. We tried and tried to get her head out. Her head had to be lifted quite high up to get out of the hole and it was hard but after 20 minutes or so we got her out.
We thought we were going to have to cut one of the tree’s down because of the fact she would not participate. Be sure and share this with your friends and comment!

Funny. I live on a 52-acre farm with cows. We have two young cows that just yesterday got themselves all confused. We have a rather large pasture out front of the house and a wooded area behind us. The cows like to go to the back in the late afternoon, the hottest part of the day, to enjoy the shade. After 6 they move back to the front as it gets cooler. Well, yesterday the big cows all moved to the front but the two little cows didn’t. When they realized that they were all alone they tried to find their way back to the older cows. But one of them managed to jump a fence and get into another pasture that we only use in the winter. Then she couldn’t find her way back to where she was supposed to be. Both young cows were going crazy. Momma was calling from the front, the one cow was jumping through her bovine arse to find where she had jumped the fence and was going nuts trying to figure it out, and the other baby cow was confused as she could hear momma screaming from the front but could her cousin acting like an idiot in the other field. They were all mooing like crazy, running around like idiots, and it was just a riot to watch. OMG, I laughed my ass off. It was funny. Cows are stupid.

LOL…well it’s not like they have been bred for thousands of years to be smart…we just want the meat, the milk, and the leather! Besides…if theyt ever got smart enough to figure out what was going on, we would be in serious trouble…
